NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
<\/span>(Pursuant to Section 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Assessor of the Town of Wheatland, County of Monroe, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy will be left in the Assessor\u2019s Office at 22 Main Street, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person from May 2 until the fourth Tuesday in May.<\/span><\/div>\n

The Board of Assessment Review will meet on May 28th, 2024 between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM at 22 Main Street in said town, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to Assessments, on the application of any person believing them self to be aggrieved. Real Property Tax Law and The Board of Assessment Review requires that you submit the original, signed RP-524 document and five copies, four days prior to BAR. All completed paperwork should be submitted to the Assessors Office before the close of business on May 23rd 2024. When all paperwork is received, you will be scheduled for an appointment time to address the Board. Publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor\u2019s Office.<\/span><\/div>\n
