{"id":2133,"date":"2024-11-20T17:26:59","date_gmt":"2024-11-20T22:26:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.townofwheatlandaccess.com\/?p=2133"},"modified":"2024-11-20T17:27:00","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T22:27:00","slug":"notice-of-hearing-for-2025-preliminary-town-budget","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/townofwheatlandny.gov\/?p=2133","title":{"rendered":"Notice of Hearing for 2025 Preliminary Town Budget"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-hcmjy963\"><strong>LEGAL NOTICE &#8211; TOWN OF WHEATLAND<\/strong><br><strong>NOTICE OF HEARING UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-mdzo3253\">Notice is hereby given that the <strong>Preliminary Budget of the Town of Wheatland for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2025<\/strong>, has been completed and filed at the Office of the Town Clerk in Scottsville, New York, where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular business hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-9lwzh270\">Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Wheatland will meet, and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a <strong>Special Hearing thereon at the Wheatland Municipal Building, 22 Main Street, Scottsville, New York at 6:00 P.M. on the 5th of December 2024<\/strong> and that at such Hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as completed, or for or against any item therein contained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-i1u3j287\">Pursuant to Section 133 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following Officers of the Town of Wheatland are hereby specified as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Town Supervisor&#8211;$0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deputy Supervisor&#8211;$1,200<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Councilpeople (4)&#8211;$8,963<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Town Justice (2)&#8211;$21,297<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Town Clerk&#8211;$67,253<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highway Superintendent&#8211;$92,190<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-qtx0s332\">By Order of the Town Board<br>Of the Town of Wheatland<br>Dated: November 7, 2024<br>Laurie B.
