{"id":2513,"date":"2026-04-10T12:46:49","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T17:46:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/townofwheatlandny.gov\/?p=2513"},"modified":"2026-04-10T12:46:51","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T17:46:51","slug":"permissive-referendum-municipal-building-entryway-improvements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/townofwheatlandny.gov\/?p=2513","title":{"rendered":"Permissive Referendum &#8211; Municipal Building Entryway Improvements"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-03kah4504\" class=\"dzhEF ntB6g UpC0L bMKtZ\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"_0pqiG\"><strong>LEGAL NOTICE &#8211; TOWN OF WHEATLAND<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"dzhEF ntB6g UpC0L bMKtZ\" dir=\"auto\"><strong style=\"font-size: revert;\">Notice of Adoption of Resolution Subject to Permissive Referendum<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-l8p1a5496\" class=\"dzhEF ntB6g fpTX4 bMKtZ\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"_0pqiG\">NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on the 9th day of April, 2026, the Town Board of the Town of Wheatland duly adopted a resolution, an abstract of which follows, which resolution is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Article 7 of the Town Law of the State of New York.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"dzhEF ntB6g fpTX4 bMKtZ\" dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Whereas, it was moved by Supervisor Kirch, seconded by Councilman Call and unanimously carried,<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-5cq744518\" class=\"dzhEF ntB6g fpTX4 bMKtZ\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"_0pqiG\"><strong><u>Resolution No. 68 :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<ul class=\"NyLay fpTX4\">\n<li class=\"FvLjp\" dir=\"auto\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p id=\"viewer-2hjtb4520\" class=\"dzhEF ntB6g fpTX4 bMKtZ\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"_0pqiG\">\u00a0WHEREAS, the Town of Wheatland has established a Reserve Fund known as the \u201cBuilding Repair Reserve,\u201d and<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"FvLjp\" dir=\"auto\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p id=\"viewer-vl7ez4522\" class=\"dzhEF ntB6g fpTX4 bMKtZ\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"_0pqiG\">\u00a0WHEREAS, the Town of Wheatland intends to make entryway improvements at the Wheatland Municipal Building,<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"FvLjp\" dir=\"auto\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p id=\"viewer-85rf64524\" class=\"dzhEF ntB6g fpTX4 bMKtZ\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"_0pqiG\">\u00a0NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, subject to permissive referendum, the Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor to withdraw a sum of $10,217.21 from the \u201cBuilding Repair Reserve\u201d and apply it to the entryway improvements.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-4boi45424\" class=\"dzhEF ntB6g lLj-R bMKtZ\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"_0pqiG lLj-R\">Adopted: Supervisor Kirch \u2013 aye<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Councilman Davis- aye<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Councilman Schoenthal \u2013 aye<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Councilman Call \u2013 aye<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Councilwoman Stevens \u2013 aye<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block17\"><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">By Order of the Town Board <\/span><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Of the Town of Wheatland<\/span><\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block19\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-itu1p4542\" class=\"dzhEF ntB6g fpTX4 bMKtZ\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"_0pqiG\">Date: April 10, 2026<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Laurie B.
