LEGAL NOTICETOWN OF WHEATLAND
<\/strong><\/span>Notice of Adoption of Resolution Subject to Permissive Referendum<\/strong><\/p>\n

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on the 14th day of May, 2026, the Town Board of the Town of Wheatland duly adopted a resolution, an abstract of which follows, which resolution is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Article 7 of the Town Law of the State of New York.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Whereas, it was moved by Supervisor Kirch, seconded by Councilman Davis and carried<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Resolution No. 74 :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

WHEREAS, the Town of Wheatland has established a Reserve Fund known as the \u201cBuilding Repair Reserve,\u201d and<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

WHEREAS, the Town of Wheatland intends to make repairs and improvements to the Wheatland Municipal Building,<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, subject to permissive referendum, the Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor to withdraw a sum of $56,122.16 from the \u201cBuilding Repair Reserve\u201d and apply it to the repairs and improvements.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
