The Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Wheatland will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 7:00 PM in the Wheatland Municipal Building, 22 Main Street, Scottsville, NY to consider the following: The application of Dominic Pillittere to seek an area variance of Article II, Sections 130- 9, 130-11 of the Code of the Town of Wheatland, to build a side deck that will encroach on the required 75’ front setback in an AR-2 zoning district.
 
The subject parcel is 57 Guthrie Road in Mumford, NY 14511. Tax I.D. 208.04-1-21. All interested parties are asked to attend and be heard or to submit written comment concerning this application.

Free Rabies Immunization Clinic August 3, 2024

A Free Rabies Immunization Clinic sponsored by Monroe County Department of Health in cooperation
with the Town of Wheatland will be held on Saturday August 3, 2024, from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at the Scottsville Fire Department, 385 Scottsville-Mumford Road.
 
Dogs must be on leashes. Cats & ferrets must be in carriers. Proof of a previous rabies vaccination is required to receive a 3-year booster; otherwise, a 1-year vaccination will be given. Notice is hereby given that the Final Assessment Roll for the Town of Wheatland in the State of New York, County of Monroe for the year 2024 has been completed by the undersigned Assessor, and a certified copy will be filed in the office of the Assessor on the 5th day of July, where the same will remain open to public inspection.
